FoodHub presented at the online workshop "Towards efficient implementation of the Smart Specialization Strategy - discussion with key actors"
On 16.12.2020. an online workshop on "Towards effective implementation of the Smart Specialization Strategy - discussion with key actors - Sustainable agriculture and food value chain" was held at 10 am, at which the project Center of excellence for digitalization of microbial food safety risk assessment and quality parameters for accurate food authenticity certification (FoodHub) was presented.
For the purpose of remaining in the flow of defined Smart Specialization Strategy of Montenegro, the main activities of the Center were presented.
Also, key areas of involvement in liaison with the strategic goals have been identified. This created new perspectives and opportunities for networking and staying in the line with EU and Montenegrin strategies for smart specialization in the area of Agriculture.
A special attention was given to the issues related to environment protection and modalities for the more efficient „greening“ of the agricultural production.
The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of Montenegro, and in addition to prof. Dr. Aleksandra Martinović, director of the Center of Excellence, eminent foreign experts from this and other thematic areas also participated in the workshop.
