Successfully completed "HERA2 Microbial Genomics Workshop: Bacterial typing and antimicrobial resistance"
Director of the Centre of Excellence (FoodHub), Prof. Aleksandra Martinovic and young researchers, MSc Andrea Milacic and Spec. Sci. Nađa Raicevic, successfully completed the "HERA2 Microbial Genomics Workshop: Bacterial typing and antimicrobial resistance" training, which was held in Crete from May 2 to 5.
The Centre of Excellence (FoodHub) team had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field of microbial genetics, with a special emphasis on genome sequencing technologies and software used for data analysis and processing!
The coordinator of the conference in the scientific, administrative and organizational sense was the Austrian Agency for Public Health and Food Safety (AGES). The co-organizer of the event was the Regional Public Health Laboratory of Crete Virology Lab in cooperation with the University of Crete.
