Director of the Center and young researchers - panelists at the SmAgTech EXPO event
The first international virtual fair in the region in the field of agriculture and information technology SmAgTech EXPO was held on November 17, through a specialized online platform. Director of the Center, prof. Dr. Aleksandra Martinović and young researchers Andrea Milačić and Amil Orahovac, took part in this event as panelists within the session on the food industry.
In the introductory part of her lecture, Professor Martinović emphasized the importance of food safety, and in the continuation of her presentation she especially referred to the importance of implementing risk assessment, as a science-based process, and the role of FoodHub in that field in Montenegro.
Our young researcher, Andrea Milačić, spoke about the importance of software solutions and digital tools in the field of risk assessment, while Amil Orahovac spoke about microbiological risk assessment and the benefits of all stakeholders in the food safety system through it.
