Productive meeting with representatives of EIT Food: Future collaboration discussed
On Tuesday, March 12, 2024, a constructive meeting took place with representatives of EIT Food, a key European initiative for innovations in the field of food and nutrition, supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). The main focus of the meeting was to acquaint the representatives of EIT Food with the activities, goals, mission, and vision of the Centre of Excellence (FoodHub), and to open a discussion on potential future collaboration and FoodHub's membership in this prestigious community.
EIT Food is the leading European initiative for food innovations, working towards creating a world where everyone can access sustainable, safe, and healthy food and enjoy it with trust and fairness from farm to fork. Its mission is to transform the way food is produced and valued in European society, addressing the greatest innovation challenges across industry, education, and trusted research partners working with informed and engaged citizens.
In line with the goals of the Centre of Excellence (FoodHub), the meeting provided an opportunity for a detailed discussion of potential collaboration with EIT Food, aiming to work together on transforming the way food is produced and valued. Our desire to collaborate with EIT Food stems from the belief that collaborative efforts are crucial for achieving a sustainable and advanced future in the food value chain. We look forward to continuing the conversation and hope for a successful partnership that will contribute to achieving our common goals.
