Young researchers participated in the TAM seminar titled "Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright at Higher Education Institutions."

The seminar was organized by the Montenegrin Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) team, in collaboration with the SPHERE network (comprising OBREAL Global as coordinator and the European University Association - EUA) and the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro.

This event aimed to delve into Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and copyright management within the context of technical universities. Dr Filippo Silipigni, Senior Project Manager at Politecnico di Milano, was a special guest lecturer at the seminar.

The seminar comprised three main modules: Intellectual Property and IP Rights, IPR Valorization and Technology Transfer in the context of universities (highlighting the experience of Politecnico di Milano), and How to find patents, trademarks, and designs using online free-of-charge search engines.

The topic of Intellectual Property Rights and copyright is of significant importance to the field of higher education.

The seminar provided an excellent opportunity for our young researchers to gain insights into these topics, including definitions, examples, strategic guidelines, and a discussion on current status and best practices.

This participation underscores our commitment to fostering knowledge and understanding of intellectual property and copyright within the academic community.
